C&L Trading of Miami specializes in import, wholesale and distribution of fashion and beauty goods. With over 25 years of experience and two warehouse locations (Opa Locka & Tampa), we've established our business to cater to customers all over the world.

We are in need of an Administrative Assistant that is organized and computer savvy. You will be working closely with the General Manager to assist with tasks such as data entry, inventory checks, purchasing, and communicating with vendors. The ideal candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to organize their work using tools, like MS Excel and office equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting the General Manager
  • Receiving shipments (verifying accuracy and quantity of products)
  • Inventory audits (physical count of products and documenting/reporting any discrepancies)
  • Plan meetings and take detailed minutes
  • Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
  • Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
  • Update and maintain office policies and procedures
  • Provide general support to vendors
  • Act as the point of contact for internal and external vendors

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
  • Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and fax machines
  • Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel in particular)
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
  • Attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
  • High School degree; additional qualification as an Administrative assistant or Secretary will be a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour
