The Role
CQC is hiring a Human Resource Manager to support the global HR function. This new role reports to CQC’s Head of Human Resource and it’s based in Washington DC.
Under the supervision of the Head of HR, the HR Manager will be responsible for the following objectives and responsibilities:
Objectives
- Ensure staffing needs are met
- Assist in developing and executing personnel procedures and policies, providing guidance and interpretation for business operations
- Participate in development of HR objectives and systems, including metrics, queries, and standard reports for ongoing company requirements
- Assist in administering benefits, compensation, and employee performance programs
- Suggest new procedures and policies to continually improve efficiency of the HR department and organization as a whole, and to improve employee experience
- Ensure legal compliance of HR regulations and applicable employment laws, and update policies and/or procedures as required
Responsibilities
Recruiting
- Manage the recruiting cycle
- Assist and provide guidance to hiring managers
- Draft, present and negotiate offers with selected candidates
Onboarding & Offboarding
- Manage the onboarding process for new employees
- Conduct orientation
- Support the transition of team members during exits
Performance Management & Employee Relations
- Use performance management tools to provide guidance and feedback to team
- Support ongoing performance management for our teams
- Implement training and professional development programs
- Help managers work through any performance related issues with team members
- Manage employee relations issues that arise
- Support team members as their go-to resource for navigating all things HR and facilitating resources needed to ensure team members have the tools needed to be successful
Compensation & Benefits
- Support global payroll process
- Administer global benefits programs
- Address benefits and payroll questions from employees
Compliance
- Ensure all company HR policies are applied consistently
- Manage compliance training
- Provide guidance to managers and employees on policies and regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or business administration
- 4 years in human resources management
- Exceptional attention to details
- Adept to problem-solving and conflict resolution
- Exceptional communication skills, writing skills, interpersonal skills, and ethical mindset
- Extensive knowledge of HR practices
- Extensive knowledge of MS Office
- Experience in global HR preferred
