Description
SUMMARY
Cleans offices, halls, restrooms, and locker rooms in Manufacturing facility and surrounding buildings by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Replenishes supplies such as coffee, cups, paper towels and cleaning supplies.
Sweeps, and mops floors.
Cleans rugs, carpets, and furniture.
Dusts furniture.
Washes walls, ceiling, and woodwork.
Washes windows, door panels, and sills.
Empties wastebaskets, and empties recycling bins.
Transports trash and waste to disposal area.
Clean restrooms and replenishes restroom supplies.
Requirements
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, and individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Have some knowledge of cleaning chemicals.
Some light painting.
Develop skills to run equipment such as electric vacuums, electric floor sweeper, and floor scrubbers.
Understand safety requirements of production facility.
Posses attention to detail.
Able to maneuver heights.
Education and/or Experience
High School or equivalent
Mathematical Skills
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as, probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
