Job Description & Responsibilities

• Tutors are required to complete the PAID C2 Teacher Training Program and additional ongoing training.
• Tutors instruct students in a 3:1 setting of up to 3 students per tutor.
• Tutors keep detailed records of tutoring sessions and work closely with Center Program Director to meet students’ academic goals.
• Tutors primarily will be working in person at our Plainview location

Position Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher required
• High SAT or ACT scores. We're looking for tutors who can score at or above the 95 percentile on the SAT Reading/Writing/ Math section.
• Tutors must be highly skilled, motivated, dynamic, versatile, and dependable, with strong communication skills.
• Tutors must be friendly, patient, and sensitive to the needs of students
• AP-level knowledge in subjects preferred
• No teacher certification required
• No previous teaching or tutoring experience required but tutors must have a passion for education and mentoring students.

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
