About the Role:
We are looking for a motivated copywriter to engage audiences with memorable and quick-hitting copy that appeals to diverse groups of business audiences across digital, social media, print, video, and more. You should enjoy taking complex concepts into simple-to-understand language that enhances the brand experience. In this role, you will collaborate with your fellow Content Team members and business partners to craft impactful copy that drives engagement and brand awareness and be the voice of C2FO.
Responsibilities:
- Development of compelling creative concepts and high-quality verbal content, within brand standards and on strategy across a variety of mediums (Video, Email, Social, Digital)
- Write, schedule, publish, and monitor/respond to Social Media content across LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter
- Optimize social media posts (language, tone, message) based on our target audience’s behavior.
- Collaborate with designers, developers, and business partners to meet business objectives
- Maintain brand voice and style across materials
- Copyedit others’ work for grammar, punctuation, clarity, and mistakes
- Produce original, clear and credible copy and be accountable for the final development of creative assets.
- Guarantee accuracy, attention to detail and meet or exceed the writing objectives.
- Execute writing requests with accuracy, producing zero preventable errors in work (all partner edits are implemented correctly, spell check was run, facts were confirmed).
- Help the team to strategically perform the work on a high level of planning.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of relevant work experience.
- 4-6 years experience in developing copy with an in-house marketing team or agency
- Strong portfolio of published work that includes quantifiable results
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
- Self-motivated, self-directed and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across teams
Bonus points
- Background in finance, accounting, or tax
- Demonstrable success with SEO (more than just surface-level knowledge)
- Exhibit competency in presenting creative work.
- Proficient in multiple languages for writing and editing
- Experience in MS Office and Adobe Creative Suite for Mac.
- Experience in Hootsuite
- Experience in Asana or similar project management tools.
