C3EL is seeking an experienced Cloud Solutions Architect to join our team at in Tampa, FL. In this role, you'll provide solutions for cloud design, migration, and associated governance. The ideal candidate will have expert level knowledge in all things Cloud Computing and Engineering.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Designing, planing, and integrating cloud computing systems using infrastructure as code and modern cloud-native deployment techniques such as DevOps and/or DevSecOps.
- Maintaining technical expertise relevant industry standards and best practices in cloud computing and virtualization technologies such as cloud service provider architecture, design, and configuration; cloud deployment models including, private, and hybrid; cloud service delivery models including infrastructure-, platform-, and software-as-a-service; automation; hypervisors; containers; virtual compute, storage, and networks; virtual infrastructure management; self-provisioning; and scaling.
- Developing and facilitating the testing of cloud and virtualization systems to advance prototyping solutions.
- Development of migration strategies - identifying technical, cost, and security risks
- Ensuring that cloud-based technical solutions are suitable, applicable, and scalable within the enterprise environment
- Ensuring the logical and systematic conversion of requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
- Functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Active DoD Secret clearance
- Ability to obtain a TS/SCI
- Bachelor’s Degree (B.S.) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Management Systems, or a related discipline.
- Related work experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
- Industry recognized Cloud certifications (i.e: Microsoft Azure and AWS)
- 9 years of working experience with Microsoft Azure, AWS and Google
- Experience designing and migrating solutions in a production environment
- Designing and implementing enterprise IT systems to include virtual and networking technologies
- Employing networking devices and firewalls
- Working with security concepts related to Domain Name System (DNS), routing, authentication, certificate authentication, and VPN tunneling
- Familiar with Agile project management procedures
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
- Must be able to travel up to 10% annually
