The Digital Investigation Specialist is responsible for providing support to the Alfa Laval Group in Digital Investigation/Security related activities. You will assist the organization with digital investigation competence and tools, support managers in conducting internal investigations, in accordance with policies and procedures. Provide both knowledge and access to information from different digital Alfa Laval sources both structured, semi-structured and unstructured. Together we will build the capability Alfa Laval need to detect non-compliance to the business principals, policies and other regulations, and to protect Alfa Laval’s brand and assets. Key responsibilities You will be responsible for the below, but not limited to: Develop and maintain IT forensic capabilities such as forensic analysis tools and document review tools Act as focal point between Group Risk & Group Information Security Support the organization with Keyword searches in AD-accounts using E-discovery in approved investigations Participating in co-ordination meetings with Third Party investigation resources in order to follow up (including steering) on-going projects. Support with digital searches of devices Conduct mirroring of devices Recording accurate detail on every stage of investigations, including the sources of any data and images Secure easy and secure access of data in different forms of repositories Secure chain of custody process (when needed) Insider threat monitoring and immediate action capability (ongoing crime/breach of policy) Keeping up to date with evolving cyber-crime methods and developments in IT forensic technology. Writing technical report based on findings What you know Bachelor's degree or equal in computer science or criminal justice digital forensics investigation, Information Security Professionals at SCQF Level 6 or 8. 2-5 years of experience in digital investigation or similar environment (working in a Security Operations Center) Excellent computer skills. Knowledge in scripting languages and database development (such as Java, C#, WPF, MySQL, Oracle) as well as operating systems, such as Windows, iOS (Apple Macintosh), Linux, UNIX or DOS, and networking. Technical expertise in performing digital forensics on a variety of media, including hard drives; portable storage (e.g., USB drives, memory cards); smartphones and tablets; and cloud services (SaaS, IaaS) Competencies/ Profile You have the ability to spot patterns or trends across large amounts of data Have a creative approach to solving problems. Have the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines. Be able to examine evidence objectively and impartially. Be able to write accurate and clear reports. Be able to communicate information clearly to non-technical people. Be willing to keep up with developments in technology. Ability to multi-task and participate in concurrent project.
