Your part in our growth begins with getting a good understanding of what we do and how we do it around the world, and then taking the lead on developing our group accounting procedures. “Day-to-day”, you’ll take responsibility for group consolidation, driving process simplification, and efficiency. As Senior Group accountant your work will mainly centre around the Quarterly and Annual closings for the Alfa Laval group. You will be part of our core team that prepares timely and accurate reports to the stock exchange – so you’ll truly contribute with your expertise in the group. Your main tasks would include, (but would not be limited) to: Group consolidation Monthly, quarterly and annual reporting Preparation of public quarterly and annual reports Drive process efficiency and simplification Be involved with change management related to financial reporting What you know Like us, you’re curious about everything: especially how processes work and how they can work better. As a degreed / certified accountant (accomplished but still ambitious) you want more. You have 8 years or more, of relevant experience and a global perspective that you’ve already leveraged. Other aspects we'll be looking for: You bring with you solid experience in group accounting, consolidation and the IFRS framework. You have a curious mindset that likes to network and liaise with many key stakeholders in an international setting. You are able to easily shift between working in a team, and independently. You have an analytical mindset and sense for structure and love working with numbers. You easily adapt your way of working depending on your counterparts. The experience we would like to see is from group consolidation and accounting, preferably from a listed company environment. Perhaps you are in a smaller listed entity and would like to move into a larger setting or you come from a similar setting in a non-listed environment and would like the thrill of being part of the listed world. You are fluent in both English and Swedish as languages (writing, speaking, reading).
