And everyone, in their own unique way, plays an important part, every day. Major Responsibilities: Creates/updates databases as assigned to support departmental processes, functions, and projects. Ensures the timely and accurate input and maintenance of all data elements for assigned databases. Maintains database structures and report formats. Compiles and maintains a variety of computer-based and manual statistical and financial reports. Maintains and adheres to schedules for their timely production. Develops new database reports based on general instructions and data output specifications. Creates new tables and forms. Writes basic to advanced queries, and uses procedures to rename, update and append queries. Tests new database applications and reports for quality and accuracy. Maintains knowledge of database structure and hierarchy. Develops and maintains procedures and documented workflows for database reporting duties, to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and currency of data. Position Qualifications: License/Certification/Education: Required: One year of specialized education or training in business procedures and relevant applications software and 2-3 years of relevant experience. Experience/Skills: Required: Thorough working knowledge of database administration procedures. Must be able to utilizes a basic working knowledge of the functions of the department in the design, maintenance, and use of assigned databases. Good working knowledge of a variety of business applications software packages with particular proficiency in database software such as Access. Excellent communications and work planning skills.
