CaaStle is adding a new IT Director to build out and lead our growing IT operations team. This role reports to our VP of Engineering, and If you are a highly skilled technology professional with excellent communication skills, a strategic mindset and strong people leadership skills, this role provides challenges and growth opportunities for you and your team.
What you'll do:
- Develop and own the roadmap for CaaStle's Corporate IT infrastructure necessary to achieve CaaStle strategic business objectives.
- Understand and address the IT needs in projects working with business stakeholders across the organization.
- Oversee all IT operations and systems across all of CaaStle's locations (offices and distribution centers across US and India).
- Build and grow a strong IT team catering to the needs of the organization. Provide leadership to IT staff, ensuring their growth and development.
- Create and document processes and procedures for IT operations including systems support and maintenance. Continuously refine the processes and update documents as required.
- Partner with the Information Security Team on security and compliance, and maintain our ISO 27001 certification.
- Deliver 24/7/365 business continuity.
- Establish, grow and maintain relationships with vendors and service providers required for smooth IT operations across CaaStle's locations.
- Manage the organization's IT Budget.
- Own the configuration and deployment and maintenance of CaaStle's IT solutions.
Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent.
- 10 plus years' in IT operations including 5 plus years in managing an IT team
- Leading an IT team in a high growth company.
- Proven leadership and data-driven decision making skills
- Good understanding of IT systems including SaaS solutions like Atlassian Suite (JIRA/ Confluence), Netsuite, Zendesk, GSuite, etc.
- Good understanding of IT management tools for access control, provisioning and management, antivirus and antimalware (JAMF, MaaS360, Bitdefender, Okta etc)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to manage deployment and maintenance of complex IT projects across the organization
- Experience with working and managing a globally distributed team
- Experience working with IT security standards like ISO 27001 and NIST SP 800-53 a plus
