ABOUT THE JOB:
We are looking for a very experienced Cabinet Installer who can run an installation project independently from start to finish. The ideal candidate must read design plans/CAD drawings and execute them without supervision. This is an integral part of our business, and in this role, you will ensure that our high-end cabinet install operations run smoothly to ensure projects are completed successfully.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Install custom and semi-custom cabinetry in a high-quality and productive manner
- Coordinate tasks according to priorities and plans to ensure projects are completed on time
- Act as a site supervisor and oversee day-to-day operations of the project
- Utilize company-provided CAD drawings to install custom cabinets efficiently
- Performed quality assurance of all project materials before and after installation and reported any issues
- Interact positively with designers, architects, and contractors to resolve onsite install-related matters
- Ensure the job site remains safe, clean, and orderly
- Implement strategies to optimize workflow and operational efficiency
- Ensure that all equipment and machinery are properly operated and maintained
Requirements
- Monday through Friday; 8am - 4:30pm
- Must have 8 years of professional custom cabinet installation experience
- Must have prior experience installing inset and frameless cabinets
- Must have an exceptional understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of cabinet installation
- Must be able to cut and fabricate scribe and moldings to fit spaces with precision
- Must have experience installing high-end kitchen appliances such as Sub Zero, Wolf, Viking, Miele, Thermador, Gaggenau, etc...
- Must be able to read design plans / CAD drawings and execute them without supervision
- Must be capable of representing our company in a positive manner
- Must have strong problem-solving abilities
- Must be in good physical condition and able to lift 75lbs
- Must have strong organizational and time-management skills
- Must have reliable personal transportation and a valid state driver's license
