Design Project Coordinator

Cabinets.com, located in Tampa is a fast-growing internet retailer specializing in high quality, discount kitchen cabinets. Our team of talented individual’s custom design Dream Kitchens. If people can dream it, we can create it!

We offer a casual environment and are currently working in a hybrid model (2-days in the Tampa office, 3-days at home) for employees passed their 90-day introductory period.

Design Assistants are part of the Design Administration team. This team provides support to members of the Design Team as well as assists with customers and cross departmental teams. In this role, you will take general phone calls for the Design Dept. daily for lead generation and customer service; distribute to Designers. Monitor and process incoming information related to customer questions and design requests.

Duties and responsibilities

• Responsible for organization and distribution of project request information
• Monitor and process incoming information related to customer questions and design requests.
• Assist in the creation and pricing of custom items
• Periodically work in a cross-functional capacity to deliver Design Dept. frame of reference to various projects
• Take general phone calls, emails and respond to on-line chat for the Design Dept. as needed for lead generation and customer service
• Review and audit orders as needed
• Lead to support new customer-facing programs and projects created and deployed to enhance design and/or design request submission experience

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or 2 years’ college
• 2 years’ experience in construction/cabinet industry/kitchen remodel industry
• MUST be detail-oriented
• Personable, with previous phone customer service experience
• Strong written communication and follow-up skills
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat
• Experience with 2020 Design software is desirable.
• Understand the need to always provide an excellent customer experience

Salary: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
