Job Description Cabinetworks Group has an immediate opening for an experienced Benefits Analyst, at our corporate headquarters. We are excited to move to our new location in Livonia this summer! JOB SUMMARY: The Benefits Analyst actively contributes to the corporate team responsible for designing and managing competitive, cost effective benefit plans that help attract and retain talented employees across the company. The position has a strong client service focus, building relationships with internal and external partners in order to accomplish key initiatives. The position is responsible for providing strategic and consultative support for the management of all group benefit plans, and concentrating on Leave of Absence (LOA) administration. PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide subject matter expertise and administrative support for Cabinetwork’s health & welfare plans and retirement plans Work alongside with management, team, vendors and internal colleagues to maximize plan performance and employee experience Conduct ongoing analysis of trends and best practices, relevant legislation and compliance requirements in order to keep plans compliant and market competitive Administer the retirement plan system including; employee profile management, service requests, uploads and reporting, communications, loan and contribution errors, and loan default service reports Complete annual trial balances to confirm retirement contributions equate to participant recordkeeping systems Build relationships with the HR team, plan vendors and corporate communications teams, in order to deliver solutions that effectively meet customer needs and overall business needs Assist with ongoing vendor management including issue resolution, annual reviews, and performance measures Prepare and deliver varied communications (disclosure documents, SPDs, SARs, open enrollment materials, presentations to management, employee meeting presentations); identify and implement complementary ways to communicate benefit information Troubleshoot and find solutions for complex/escalated benefit issues requiring subject matter expertise, working with colleagues and vendors to resolve ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS: 3 years of Benefits or Human Resources experience Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or a related field Proficient using Microsoft Office tools and experience in HRIS systems, including Workday Ability to work quickly and independently, with attention to detail and sense of urgency, with ability to coordinate multiple projects, priorities and customers at the same time.
