**You will support our work automating cybersecurity operations, emulating adversary behavior, and improving the defensive postures of our sponsors. You'll evaluate tools and methodologies, assess adversary intent, develop cybersecurity analytics and other techniques to thwart or detect attacks, develop approaches to automate cybersecurity operations, and engage in research to improve the state of the practice.**
**Primary Responsibilities**
**Develop scripts, tools and capabilities aligned with cyber operations across a range of environments to support quick-turnaround delivery of capabilities to end users.**
**Customize and test open source tools prior to their employment by end users**
**Be part of a department with an expanding range of programs focusing on Cyber Operations, where you get to grow on and between programs with peers who are dedicated to advancing national security. **You'll Bring These Qualifications:**
**Full life cycle software development and testing experience**
**Experience in automated software testing and debugging**
**Experience developing for Linux servers and familiarity with the Linux command line environment**
**Professional experience with software development in high level languages such as C **
**Comprehensive skill in one or more scripting languages (Python, Perl, Bash, etc.)**
**Experience with or knowledge of penetration testing/red teaming workflows, operations lifecycle**
**Experience configuring windows and linux servers, network appliances (e.g. routers, firewalls)**
**Ability to research, identify, and test technology products**
**Understanding of network topology**
**Strong initiative -- able to generate your own tasking from stated high level objectives**
**Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work across physical and organizational boundaries**
**Bachelor's degree in a related scientific or technical discipline or extensive experience in a related field**
**Flexibility -- works well both independently and as a team player, must be eager to learn**
**Detail oriented, organized, able to multitask, and adaptable to shifting requirements**
**Active TS/SCI with required polygraph clearance**

**Cybersecurity experience such as authentication design, secure coding best practices**
**Understanding of web attacks such as SQL injection, XSS, CSRF, etc.**
