Job Description
Provides expertise in the management of the Integrated Personnel and Pay System – Army’s Build Team leading within the Human Resources Lifecycle. IPPS-A is a large-scale development and implementation of the PeopleSoft HCM and Global Payroll solutions for the US Army. Work with and assist the Technical Team to include matrixed staff including subcontractors for a major Department of Defense transformation and integration program. Lead in the planning, coordinating, and managing all aspects of the build team; including scheduling of work, design, develop, integration, and unit testing, and day-to-day customer interactions. Assist in ensuring all objectives, deliverables, and technical requirements are completed while meeting the quality objectives of the project.
What you get to do:
- Build Lead responsible for the functional and technical build of the R3 system
- The following teams report into this position: PSFT Functional, Development, OBIEE/BI Team, and Data Team (interface and conversion development), System Engineering
- Create and maintain project schedules and tracking deliverables for the Release
- Ensure each project deliverable meets customer operational and functional requirements
- Provides leadership to ensure the program meets all key performance parameters and achieves all established organizational objectives
- Interface with Government and other stakeholder customers and represent CACI in project meetings
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the program
- Identifies and manages to Performance and Management metrics that track progress against schedule and cost baselines for the release
- Responsible/accountable for delivery of the R3 Build
- Responsible for daily/weekly reporting of progress (managing down and up)
- Will have ~60+ people reporting into this role (employees and subcontractors)
What qualifications you will bring:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, 10-12 years of management experience or equivalent technical leadership and subject matter expertise
- Must have a minimum of 10+ years’ experience with fielding/integrating large enterprise IT systems, programs and/or software applications
- Experience managing multi-functional project teams in a systems development environment
- Experience managing complex tasks under tight budget and time constraints
- Experience with Integrated Master Schedules
- Secret clearance or ability to obtain
What qualifications would be nice to have:
- Master’s degree in engineering, PM, or business management; and 15 years of experience
- Possess the ability to lead and delegate responsibility, tasks and authority
- Proven experience building and maintaining strong customer relationships
- Have previous Army Military experience or experience working with Army within the areas of Human Resource
- Demonstrated experience with multiple PeopleSoft or other ERP implementations, preferably PeopleSoft (full life-cycle)
- PMP Certification or DAU Program Management Level II or higher
- Familiar with DoD Acquisition Policies (DoDD 5000.01 and DoDI 5000.02)
- Experience managing the implementation of PeopleSoft HCM
- Strong Analytical and problem solving skills

- Strong track record of understanding and interest in current and emerging technologies demonstrated through training, job experience and/or industry activities

- Experience using SharePoint, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and HP Application Lifecycle Management
