Program Overview:
The CDM Program is managed within the DHS Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, CISA/Office of Cybersecurity and Communications (CS&C)/Network Security Deployment (NSD) Division, responsible for enhancing the security, resilience, and reliability of the Nation’s cyber and communications infrastructure. The DHS CDM Program mission is to safeguard and secure cyberspace in an environment where the threat of cyber-attack is continuously growing and evolving. The CDM Program defends the United States (U.S.) Federal Information Technology (IT) networks from cybersecurity threats by providing continuous monitoring sensors (tools), diagnosis, mitigation tools, and associated services to strengthen the security posture of Government networks.
What You’ll Get to Do:
- Provide support of Cyber Security incidents. This includes (but not limited to) Site, Systems and other Cyber Security related incidents.
- Support the development and maintenance of standard operating procedural guides, policy, compliance procedures, and ongoing improvement of procedures for information system security in the classified and unclassified domains.
- Create drafts or new procedural guides and may be necessary for emerging processes, procedures and tools.
- Support the process, development, operation, maintenance, analysis, and audit requirements of the USCG Privileged User Management Program (PUMP).
- Support the maintaining of CG User Account access and performing random account audits on Information Assurance tools to include but not limited to Information Assurance Compliance System (IACS), Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS), Homeland Secure Data Network (HSDN), Continuous Monitoring Risk Scoring (CMRS), Cyber Operational Attribute Management System (COAMS) and Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Services (eMASS).
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
- Relevant Years of Experience: 5
- Education: BA/BS or equivalent years of relevant experience
- Certifications: IAT II
- Significant proficiency and knowledge of particular cybersecurity and analysis tools, tactics, techniques, frameworks, and procedures which support their analysis of cyber event information.
- Experience with system and network analysis, vulnerability and risk assessments, and security assessment of hardware and software.
- Demonstrated experience in IT best practices regarding application, enterprise system, and network security.
- Strong understanding of cloud environments and assessing systems within cloud environments focusing on security posture.
- Experience with continuous monitoring and POA&Ms.
- Understanding of NIST 800-53, 800-137 and RMF.
