CACI is seeking a talented Director of Program Management to join Ascent Vision Technologies (AVT) in Belgrade, MT. AVT is a fast-growing technology company that is a global leader in counter unmanned aerial systems, high-tech camera systems, and software development.  AVT manufactures best-in-class gyro-stabilized gimbal systems designed for a wide variety of ground, maritime, and aerial-based applications.  We specialize in fully integrated solutions for intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance, and counter drone operations for the defense and aerospace industry.  Our pioneering systems are supporting airborne, ground and maritime missions around the world.

 

The primary role of the Director of Program Management is to guide daily business operations in the areas of cross-functional collaboration, program management, change and communications, and strategies to support to the core business processes.  The Director of Program Management establishes processes and procedures for program/project management, performs strategic planning and budgeting resource management project scheduling and management of cross-functional teams to complete tasks.  Other responsibilities include customer engagement for integrated systems, partner relations, logistics, and interfacing with engineering and production to deliver products and services and reporting to leadership.

 

Outstanding candidates should have excellent communication and organizational skills and be able to coordinate effectively, identify any issues, and ensure they are resolved promptly.  This person must also be able to work with a diverse team and capable to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. This position will require heavy attention to detail with a passion for the mission and process.


What You’ll Get to Do:

  • Initiates and sets goals for programs according to the strategic objectives of the organization.
  • Leads strategic and operational planning for the business, as well as execution and program reviews.
  • Establish and implement long and short-term strategies for the AVT business, with direct impact on the achievement of organizational growth targets and business results.
  • Develop, manage, track, and report financial forecasts.
  • Strategize, organize, and monitor AVT programs and projects to adhere to organizational mission and objectives.
  • Interface and communicate with key customers to track project progress and ensure deliverables are met.
  • Track project activities daily to ensure timelines, scope and budget are managed in line with AVT’s mission and contractual requirements
  • Report key programmatic developments, risks or issues to Leadership and work to develop strategic solutions.
  • Evaluate and recommend/secure key investments in equipment, infrastructure, and talent to enable growth of the business.
  • Discover ways to enhance efficiency and productivity of procedures and people.


You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or related field.
  • 5-10 years in Program and Operations Management with increasing leadership responsibilities.
  • Proven experience in capturing ew business/program(s), proposals, and customer engagement.
  • Strong background and experience in program management techniques and working in a matrixed environment.
  • Progressive program management/leadership experience with development, production, and sustainment programs.
  • Ability to lead projects independently - Demonstrated experience making commitments, setting priorities, and delivering results on time.
  • Demonstrated ability to interact and communicate (both oral and written) with peers, project team members, senior leaders, and executives.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated high level of proficiency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook and Adobe Professional.
  • Ability to work on tight deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Effective Interpersonal and Communication skills – both written and verbal.
  • Exceptional attention to detail skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Team-management skills.
  •  Organized, efficient, good at multitasking, and driven to succeed.


These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Military or government contract experience background is highly preferred
  • PMP Certification
  • MBA
