What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electrical Engineer (Security Clearance Required) position at CACI?
Power Assessment Support, responsible for collecting inventory and power consumption data for all electrically supplied equipment, as well as designing/replicating sites power usage using power simulation software. Ensuring that optimal designs are developed to give the customer the most reliable and fuel efficient solutions. You will also be responsible for presenting recommendations to leadership, including options of alternative solutions along with the optimal solutions. Also providing cost of all solutions based on equipment availability.
What You’ll Get to Do:
- Provide mechanical and electrical engineering, as required, to PM E2S2 to perform power assessments and develop solution sets in support of military systems and expeditionary bases throughout the contiguous United States and outside the contiguous United States.
- Travel to all potential contiguous United States locations for periods up to 90 days at a time.
- Assist with the development of briefings, informational papers, data collection and detailed analysis pertaining to assessments in accordance with CDRL A005, Reports, Record of Meetings/Minutes.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
- Electrical Engineering Degree
- 5 years experience with Power Generators/Power Generation
- 5 years experience with Power Distribution/ Distribution Equipment
- 5 years experience with Military Power generators and distribution equipment
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
- 5 year’s experience with Military Power generators and distribution equipment
