What You’ll Get to Do:
CACI seeks a detail-oriented Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) Analyst with superior interpersonal, organizational and communications skills. The FOIA Analyst will provide administrative, organizational, and project coordination support to the FOIA and Records Management (RM) activities within the client’s organization.
More About the Role:
- Assist with activities for ongoing processing of FOIA request: data entry quality controls efforts improvement processes and coordinating and attending meetings
- Coordinate all activities related the FOIA and RM including conference calls, meetings, and the execution of SharePoint
- Work with requesters to clarify and narrow requests and provide updates on status of requests.
- Serve as the main point of contact for client and primary coordinator for requests and follow-ups made via their SharePoint website(s)
- Reviewing responses and help to prioritize incoming requests.
- Maintain the FOIA and SharePoint Processing system for accountability purposes using applicable SharePoint, shared folders, and emails
- May review specific FOIA requests to identify where publicly available information or previously cleared language can be used to respond.
- Coordinate with points of contact/subject matter experts when additional information is needed, provides suggestions on completing searches.
- Provide ongoing updates (as requested) about FOIAs in progress.
- Participate in regular policy team calls to maintain awareness of key topics.
- Assist with the development of manuals and operating procedures for RM
- Assist with the development of a DHQP RM Training series for staff
- Maintain complete and detailed case notes on all assigned cases.
- Prepare reports and briefing documents.
- Support necessary FOIA administrative functions such as: scanning documents, uploading files to the appropriate FOIA database(s), etc.
- Provide in writing final records release determination to the requesting party for all FOIA requests assigned
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
- 3+ years relevant experience
- Bachelor’s Degree or the equivalent
- Proficient using MS Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook).
- Demonstrated experiencing using SharePoint
- Prior records management experience.
- Excellent oral, written communication and presentation skills.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Ability to complete milestones and work toward multiple deadlines simultaneously
- Highly organized with excellent interpersonal skills
- Attention to details and problem-solving skills
- Ability to plan and organize work to meet deadlines with minimal supervision
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
- Previous FOIA experience
- Paralegal experience
- Experience training staff

Salary : $52,300 - $107,200
