What You’ll Get to Do:
CACI is seeking a full-time Electronic File Processing Specialist I to work on-sight in support of a major government contract. This is a great opportunity for someone to continue their career in the IT field supporting the Federal Government on large and complex technical litigation support matters. This position introduces candidates to eDiscovery best practices that focus on verifying client requests, quality checking database loads and deliverables while using applications like Relativity Processing, NUIX and copying and encryption software. On the job training will be provided, this position is ideal for up-and-coming IT professionals looking to develop and improve their technical skills. You will be exposed to data in various forms and learn to manipulate large data sets as they progress through complex workflows. Opportunities to learn and develop scripting capabilities (PERL, Python, etc.) will be provided.
More About the Role:
- Work with Nuix Workstation providing hands-on processing and file manipulation converting unstructured data into a structured format for loading into a review platform.
- Responsible for creating and modifying files for upload into COTS products and performs individual file conversion in support of electronic file processing.
- Will be required to develop, evaluate, modify, and follow methodologies and procedures for manipulating loose files for use typically with COTS products and litigation support applications.
- Must be able to ensure the accuracy of electronic data processing, manipulation, and conversion by performing and documenting quality and accuracy checks.
- Conduct and perform quality assurance tasks ensuring the accuracy of processed data meets deliverable standards.
- Test and validate future releases of processing software capturing metrics, statistics, updating documentation, and reporting progress to manager.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
- Experience working and communicating in a collaborative environment.
- Requires at least one year of experience working in a technical role.
- Working knowledge of personal computers, including Windows, and document review/ processing software.
- Experience in litigation support.
- Proficient in MS Office suite.
- Must be able to obtain an DOJ MBI clearance.
- Knowledge of litigation discovery process, and the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM) workflow.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
- Coursework in technical disciplines (programming/scripting, systems administration, and database management)
- Prior experience ingesting and exporting data in Nuix workstation.
- Familiarity with Relativity, LAW, ServiceNow, NotePad++ valued.
- Familiarity with Concordance format load files.
- Ability to perform quality control analysis and report any issues with the data.
- Ability to work in a deadline driven, fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail, and ability to perform tasks accurately and quickly.
- Customer-focused, congenial, professional attitude for working on site with government clients. eDiscovery experience and demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, similar to the duties and responsibilities described.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills are a plus.
- Undergraduate degree preferred, preferably in computer science or related field.
