What are the responsibilities and job description for the Oracle Database Administrator position at CACI?
CACI is currently seeking a highly motivated, customer-oriented senior Oracle Database Administrator to join our team in support of the U.S. Navy - Naval Surface Weapons Center (Corona). The successful candidate will have experience reviewing, evaluating, designing, implementing, and maintaining Oracle databases. We want someone who can identify data sources, construct data decomposition diagrams, provide data flow diagrams, and documents processes. This position will support the Acquisition and Readiness Department.
What You’ll Get to Do:
As an Oracle Database Administrator, you will be responsible for the support and improvement of business processes with information technology solutions. You will develop, design, and analyze applications and programs of moderate scope and complexity. Develop stored procedures, triggers, and procedures for the solution of a variety of well-defined business reporting problems. Elements of this work will be complex and difficult problems for which you will use your analytical skills to help develop solutions and code to deliver resolutions. You will use elements of your database administration experience to ensure integrity of the customer's databases, transaction processing and reporting systems, security, resource monitoring, reporting, and the development of specialized systems and processes.
Web applications, commercial off the shelf applications, large government reporting systems and other environments
Experience supporting design and testing of database partitioning and schema options to support the next generation reporting environment
Must have a pro-active approach in identifying potential service level problems and notifying appropriate parties.
Must be willing to be flexible and adaptable to changing requirements and responsibilities.
Must be willing to work occasional on-call, weekend or after-hours as needed.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
US Citizenship required
DoD Secret Security Clearance required
Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years’ experience (i.e. bachelor’s and 5+ years’ experience OR Master’s and 3+ years’ experience)
4+ years’ experience Oracle Database Administration
1+ years’ Experience in Oracle 11g and 12g
1+ years’ UNIX/Linux System Administrator
1+ years’ Windows System Administrator
One or more of the following certifications: CCNA, COMP TIA Security+, GICSP, GSEC, CND, SSCP, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP*
Demonstratable experience troubleshooting and resolving database integrity, performance, blocking/deadlocking, connectivity and security issues
Demonstratable experience with Oracle Wallet - Creation
Demonstratable experience in performance tuning, query optimization using Performance Monitor, SQL Profiler or other related tools
Professional knowledge of Oracle database development tools
Experience with databases development or support of a large government business application comprising custom developed web applications, commercial off the shelf applications, large government reporting systems and other environments
Experience supporting design and testing of database partitioning and schema options to support the next generation reporting environment

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Experience with Tableau Server
Experience with Oracle in Azure or AWS Cloud
MS SQL experience in addition to Oracle experience
Experience with Oracle Data replication - Streaming / Data Guard / Golden Gate

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, geographic location, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
$75,100.00 - $154,100.00As a federal contractor, CACI is subject to any federal vaccine mandates or other customer vaccination requirements. All new hires are required to report their vaccination status.
