What You’ll Get to Do
CACI is seeking a mission minded individual who possesses experience as a Project Operations Lead. The selected candidate will be responsible for the successful completion of all project tasks assigned by the regional Project Manager. This position will be one of multiple Project Operations Leads supporting a mission critical Voice over IP (VoIP) / unified communications / contact center modernization effort. The Operations Lead will collaborate with team members from multiple disciplines including telecommunications/VOIP engineers, network engineers, cybersecurity, and support teams. The individual will provide critical technical, administrative, and operational oversight to assigned tasks. The individual is responsible for overseeing project tasks such as:
Track and coordinate/communicate with Customer, field site point of contacts and technical team members
Track Team/Project Action Items
Facilitate/monitor project purchasing
Monitoring performance and timelines
Develop and present technical briefings
Produce Project Management Review (PMR) slides for weekly review
Coordinate resource access requirements
Other duties as assigned
More About the Role
As a member of the VMOD Project team you will provide a broad range of support to achieve operational objectives of the project. You will also:
Work independently on moderately complex assignments and assist in setting objectives for your assigned region to meet program objectives and assignments.
Assist Project Leads to identify and manage risks and maintain status updates in the Risk Register
Meet with sub-contractor personnel to formulate and review staffing plans and deliverable items
Develop and maintain relationships with customers, vendors, and other stakeholders
Prepare technical project documentation to be used by project engineers in solution design
Work with Project lead to coordinate the submission of deliverables
Ability to Incorporate/Implement changes to schedule
Lead/Assist with any data calls requested by customers
Aggregate content for weekly status reports
Conduct analysis and studies reviewing project operations
Show proper discretion in handling sensitive/confidential information
Ensure program tasks are accomplished in accordance with contract terms and conditions
Ensure that all assigned work activities are performed in a timely and cost-effective manner while maintaining the highest quality of performance
You’ll Bring These Qualifications
College degree (B.A./B.S.) in technical discipline. Equivalent professional experience will be considered in lieu of degree
U.S. Citizen with at least an interim DOD Secret clearance or higher
Professional Experience: at least seven (7) years of related experience
Working on government contracts
MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), SharePoint
Highly responsible, team-oriented individual with very strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong work ethic; self-starter
These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have
Prior Military Service
ITIL Certifications
Experience with large IT Modernization efforts (Voice/Data)
