Job Description
CACI is looking for Several Release Manager to be a part of an innovative and collaborative technology team to advance the Department of Defense (DoD)'s enterprise data analytics platform using modern technologies, cloud architectures, and development of best practices.
The CACI Team is looking for a Release Manager to support a fast-paced, agile application development team. As a Release Manager, you will provide schedule and release management for all development and deployments by creating project schedules and monitoring development progress. You will collaboratively work with management, the team, and the customer to communicate and distribute status of all work activities to ensure customer delivery and satisfaction.
More About the Role
- Collaboratively works with Product Owner(s) and the team to ensure customer development requirements are met
- Primary lead in implementing Agile practices
- Mentors team in Agile methodologies
- Work with IT management and teams to improve software engineering processes and practices
- Manage risks and resolve issues that affect release scope, schedule, and quality
- Capture and maintain key metrics related to software development, quality, and related deliverables.
- Develop and maintain process documentation
You’ll Bring These Qualifications
- 3-7 years of professional experience including Scrum Master roles
- Hands-on experience leading/managing Agile development projects and teams
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal, writing, and communication skills
- Agile Coaching or training experience with transforming teams towards a common operating model/methodology
- Understanding of traditional software development life cycle, including planning, development, requirements management, CM, quality assurance, and release management
- Active Secret clearance
These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience
- Experience with Qlik, Tableau or similar visualization tools
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), or related Agile certification
- Security+ Certification
