CACI is seeking a Data Manager who will be working in training and software development environment supporting a Federal Client. Responsible for leading the programming, monitoring and ongoing maintenance of data management for a surveillance system. The ideal candidate possesses a working knowledge of application system and database administration to help maintain data integrity, security and accuracy.
What You’ll Get to Do:
- Coordinate with software engineers, SAS developers, testers, and subject matter experts to ensure data requirements are met and actualized in testing and production environments
- Responsible for ensuring the quality of data by implementing controls and monitoring the work of data analysts.
- Perform data quality assurance activities, including identifying and resolving any inconsistencies in data flow, data outside legitimate ranges, and illogical data responses by developing data quality reports and investigation and resolution of data anomalies or errors by using a combination of software packages including SAS, Excel, and other software as warranted
- Use technical expertise, initiative, creativity, critical thinking, and strong communication and interpersonal skills daily to solve data quality problems in support of technical development efforts.
- Serve as liaison and coordinate with a multi-disciplinary team
- Collaborate with the program team to identify opportunities for process improvements, making strategic adjustments, and exploit opportunities focused on maximizing programmatic impact
- Work with leadership to define data quality standards safeguards, further refining the existing QA/QC process
- Recommend and select technical approaches for solving exciting, complex development and integration problems.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
- Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills including experience giving briefings and presentations.
- Experience with data reporting, visualization, and management (Tableau, SQL, PowerBI, etc.).
- Experience manipulating and analyzing large datasets
- Must be willing and capable of working independently and leading a team
- Proven work experience as a data analyst manager
- SAS Certified
- Ability to identify, evaluate and help resolve database performance issues
- Experience working in collaboration with development team (e.g., BAs, SAS Engineers, testers and subject matter experts)
- Demonstrated experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
- Strong communication skills and a working knowledge of agile development, including DevOps concepts
- Familiarity with the technology stack available in the industry for metadata management: Data Governance, Data Quality
- Knowledge of or experience with SQL, Database Management, Agile Environments, JIRA or other ticket management software
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science or related discipline • 8+ years of data engineering and/or data warehousing experience
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
- Experience designing and implementing systems on AWS or Azure

Salary : $71,800 - $147,200
