CACI is seeking a SQL Server DBA to join our BEAGLE (Border Enforcement Applications for Government Leading-Edge Information Technology) Agile Solution Factory (ASF) Team supporting Customs and Border Protection (CBP) client located in Northern Virginia! Join this passionate team of industry-leading individuals supporting the best practices in Agile Software Development for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
As a member of the BEAGLE ASF Team, you will support the men and women charged with safeguarding the American people and enhancing the Nation’s safety, security, and prosperity. CBP agents and officers are on the front lines, every day, protecting our national security by combining customs, immigration, border security, and agricultural protection into one coordinated and supportive activity.

More About the Role:
Responsible for the implementation, configuration, maintenance, and performance of critical DB servers, to ensure the availability and consistent performance of the applications.
Accountable as the single point of contact to the client for the development SQL Server environments.
Exposed to a variety of applications and technology in a cloud environment with high levels of automation.
Hands-on with solid technical skills as well as excellent communication skills.
You Will Bring These Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree or equivalent professional experience.
7 or more years or more of experience in SQL Server coordination, database administration, operations, development support, and production support.
Familiar with AWS, or Azure cloud architecture.
Experience in database and application performance tuning.
Experience with SQL scripting and data modeling.
Experience in support for critical production systems.
Experience in Monitoring, Backup / Recovery Management, DB Provisioning, DB refresh / restore, migration, replication, and DB release management.
Pass CBP background investigation (U.S. Citizenship required).
These Qualifications Would Be Nice To Have:
Experience in Postgres, Oracle and Databricks
SQL Server Certification
Experience with Agile methodology
Understanding of Incident Management, Problem Management, and Change Management.
Experience in tools such as ServiceNow, JIRA, Confluence.
LiquiBase Change Management Tool
Highly responsible, team-oriented individual with very strong communication skills and work ethic; self-starter
