What are the responsibilities and job description for the System Engineer position at CACI?
CACI has need to add an experienced cleared Systems Engineer to its technical team in Omaha NE. This position requires travel in the continental United States for various projects. The candidate should be experienced performing the following tasks.
What You’ll Get to Do:
- Perform a variety of technical functions supporting C4 system engineering and sustainment activities
- Must be familiar with System Development Life Cycle
- Experience writing complex technical solutions for C4 systems requirements, developing an implementation plan and all related documents
- Implementation and integration of C4 systems, operations and maintenance.
- Experience with AutoCAD drafting and design, rack elevation drawings, cable pin-out and cable connection drawings
- Creation of user guides, equipment maintenance manuals, test plans and test procedures
- Experience in equipment installation, able to lift 50 pounds and comfortable working in confined spaces and heights
- Experience troubleshooting complex integrated systems, analyzing results, developing fixes and modifying systems as needed
- Familiar with Configuration Management and repository maintenance for C4 system and subsystem technical data management. (Remedy, Equipment Custodian Logging)
- Work in a team environment and collaborate with various stakeholders (government , military, contractors)
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
- Active TS clearance with the ability to obtain an TS/ SCI
- Bachelor of Science or equivalent relevant experience
- 3-5 years of experience in engineering and implementing of technical solutions
- Security+ certification or IAT level II equivalent
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
- A Bachelor of Science with a STEM focus
- DRSN (Red switch secure telephone systems)
- Satellite communication systems background
- Familiarity with RF systems to include HF, VHF and UHF radios and signal management
- Legacy long-haul communication circuits (T1s, Serial)
- Cryptographic systems (KGs, KIVs)
- Familiarity with electrical and communication standards i.e. TIA, IEC, ISO, IEEE
- Thorough understanding of Audio/Visual (A/V) equipment
- AMX or Crestron programming experience
- AutoCAD experience
