Job Description:
CACI Intl., is seeking a VMware Administrator to support NSWC Corona Division’s Navy Continuous Training Environment (NCTE) Program in the Hampton Roads Virginia area. The candidate should possess experience and the ability to review the design, implementation, maintenance, and support of the NCTE VMware virtualization environment. You will collaborate closely with other IT professionals across contracts to ensure the reliability, performance, and security of the NCTE virtualized infrastructure.
What You’ll Get to Do:
Design, deploy, and configure VMware vSphere servers.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize VMware infrastructure performance.
Manage VMware vCenter Server, including resource allocation, and performance tuning.
Plan and execute VMware ESXi host upgrades, patches, and security enhancements.
Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate VMware infrastructure with storage, network, and other systems.
Develop and maintain documentation for VMware infrastructure configurations, procedures, and best practices.
Provide technical support and assistance to end-users and other IT teams as needed.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Active Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
5 years of experience in managing VMware vSphere environments.
Proficiency in VMware vSphere, vCenter Server, and ESXi administration.
Strong understanding of virtualization concepts, technologies, and best practices.
Familiarity with storage, networking, and server hardware technologies.
Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
VMware Certified Professional (VCP) certification.
