Head Chef

**Job Summary:** We are seeking an experienced Head Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fine dining and possess excellent kitchen management skills. The Head Chef will oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, including food production, inventory management, and maintaining high standards of food safety. The successful candidate will lead by example, demonstrating a commitment to quality, teamwork, and customer satisfaction. **Duties:** - Manage the kitchen staff, including supervising cooks, line cooks, and dishwashers. - Plan and execute menu items, including fine dining options. - Develop and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to food safety and handling standards. - Oversee inventory management, including ordering and receiving supplies. - Ensure efficient food production and presentation. - Collaborate with the dietary department to ensure that special dietary requests are met. - Maintain a positive and professional attitude, leading by example and fostering a culture of teamwork and respect. - Supervise and assist with bartending duties as needed. - Participate in restaurant management, including contributing to menu development, budgeting, and marketing efforts. **Qualifications:** - Proven experience as a Head Chef or equivalent in a fine dining restaurant. - Strong background in food production and kitchen management. - Excellent knowledge of food safety and handling practices. - Experience with inventory management and ordering procedures. - Ability to lead and motivate a team of kitchen staff. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment. - Familiarity with restaurant management and fine dining standards.
