Cadence 3 is seeking an Executive Producer to lead our digital production team. We are seeking an experienced agency producer to support management of projects from client development, relationship management, scoping and concept to fully realized creative execution. This role benefits from a candidate who is smart, savvy, self-directed who can learn and then implement making the strong judgement, and quick on your feed with strong organizational and communication skills.
Experience with live, creative, storytelling, journalism, and video production experience would be a great fit for: generating ideas, building rundowns, workbacks / milestone planning, budgeting, and writing. Must excel at all aspects of production including client management, budgeting, development, and requests for proposals. Must have experience driving client business development, managing a project and the relevant stakeholders and departments from prep to post. This is a great fit for an experienced account or video producer (broadcast, webcast, and live action) with a minimum of 7-8 years of experience in digital marketing.
Being able to keep a eye to client goals and objectives, operate in a fast-paced creative environment, and drive for decisions through ambiguity are ideal traits for success in this role. Experience in all aspects of production from pre-production with a strong understanding of creating budgets and manageable production timelines & workback schedules to manage across workstreams and effectively lead team members to deliver great results for clients is extremely valuable. .
Job Responsibilities
- Lead a team of 7-10 full-time employees and contingent staff across production and editing to empower the team to learn, grow, and deliver great results for clients
- Work collaboratively across other teams aligned to graphics, scripting, and marketing
- Cultivate client relationships and drive business development opportunities
- Own and facilitate the project management of all assigned projects: initial info-gathering, distilling, communicating client needs, and goals to the creative team executing the work, creating workback schedules, and ensuring that all schedules, deliveries, and feedback stay on track
- Provide valuable experience and ability to contribute to the success of the production team with all project-related needs from scope to final delivery
- Ability to self-manage and create, execute, and produce projects and deliverables utilizing independent judgment
- Ability to create and maintain all production documents (e.g.) schedules, call sheets, tech books, talent look books)
- Manage and track budgets of $25K to $1M
- Responsible for sourcing, tracking, and booking all crew positions
- Exercise discretion and good judgement in representing the company while regularly interfacing with clients, talent, and crew members regarding scheduling, invoicing, and payment issues
- Ability to manage project-specific duties including, but not limited to, segment producing, asset management, social media management, and script supervision
- Ability to lead and mentor entry-level peers
- Responsible for supervising and providing direction to talent and crew on location
- Ability to write, develop and produce highly compelling case studies and mini-doc style content
- Collaborate with core production team to ensure technical specs complement creative elements are in place
- Exercise writing skills and editorial judgment
- Interact with clients directly and generate new business relationships
- Pitch ideas effectively and turn them into proposal decks
- Collaborate with client teams on segment planning, research, and scripting
- Manage graphics and motion graphic workflow and development
- Manage client relationships, driving communication over email and during meetings from project inception through final delivery and billing
- Coordinate and negotiate rates for production resources like talent, crew, equipment, locations, etc.
- Facilitate the execution and completion of deliverables — book resources, consolidate and communicate project feedback and updates, uphold project deadlines and deliveries
- Complete and populate both internal and external-facing templates — ranging from scope of work documents to pitch decks and call sheets

Education & Experience
- Minimum 8 years’ experience working in a professional video, film, or multimedia/live production environment or creative agency environment
- Practical experience and knowledge of current pre-production, production, and post-production standard practices
- Basic understanding and ability to implement and manage various production roles in a studio and field environment
- Efficient organizational and time-management skills with strong attention to detail and ability to self- motivate and manage are essential
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 Suite, especially Excel
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field
