POSITION REQUIREMENTS SUMMARY:
We are looking for an Senior Financial Analyst, Pricing professional who is responsible for supporting our global pricing strategy with a focus towards increasing competitiveness and profitability.
Specifically, this professional will partner with Product Management, Marketing, Sales to analyze portfolio position in various markets worldwide against our competition and market trends. Involved in development and execution of strategy laid out by management, performing financial impact analysis to on both strategic and tactical elements of the plan execution. Supporting the revenue forecasting process as well as comparing the outcomes of different pricing strategies.
This role will also support daily ad hoc pricing decisions as well as other projects as assigned. This position will report directly to the FP&A Manager.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assessing data from a variety of sources to gain insights into pricing strategies and market trends.
- Tracking customer engagements to develop effective pricing strategies for products and offerings.
- Collaborate with Product Management, Marketing and Sales departments to develop and implement competitive pricing strategies.
- Forecast revenue and market share based on market trends and partner with business to identify new market segments of focus.
- Partner with FP&A Manager & the Division CFO to prepare forecasts, annual operating plans and aid in the monthly management reporting package (MOR) if needed. Work with business to develop planning assumptions for key business drivers.
- Development and application of statistical modeling methods to determine the potential impact of pricing strategies on profitability.
- Preparing and presenting pricing analysis finding to leadership team.
- Ad Hoc requests as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics or related field.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a public company setting, preferably with manufacturing operations
- Strong working knowledge in an ERP system, example Deltek or other similar systems.
- Strong working knowledge of finance and accounting.
- Experience in analyzing pricing strategies and forecasting revenue and market share.
- Mastery of Microsoft Excel, with proven expert level financial modeling skills.
- Proficient in PowerPoint.
- Proficient at problem solving.
- Possess strategic thinking mindset
- Excellent oral and written communication
- Business and financial acumen.
- Proficient at time management
- Ability to thrive and be highly effective in a fast-paced and fluid environment.
PREFERRED:
- MBA.
- In depth knowledge of statistical modeling and data analysis.
- Experience working in finance in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience working for organizations that have an international presence.
GENERAL:
- Complies with and enforces all applicable safety rules, regulations and procedures both at CAE Healthcare and wherever representing CAE Healthcare (i.e., program site, trade show, etc.).
- Perform all duties in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Maintain security of all proprietary information.
- Perform other duties as assigned or as necessity dictates.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Digital dexterity and hand/eye coordination in operation of office equipment.
- Ability to speak to and hear employees via phone and in person.
