At CAES-Lansdale Assemblers play a key role where you perform a wide variety of assembly operations to create precision electro-mechanical or electronic assemblies or sub-assemblies by following specific written instructions.  As part of this, you will be building micro electronic assemblies and using small tools and a microscope.

• Performs hand solder operations under microscope in compliance with Mil-Specs, IPC 610 & 620, & J-STD-001 Class 3 requirements and/or Company standards at all stages of assembly.
• Performs electronic assembly operations such as wire termination, and installation of wire harness, cable assemblies, capacitors, resistors or other electronic components by working from prints, routing instructions and work instructions using appropriate tooling and machinery as required.
• Verifies results to ensure conformance with requirements and performs rework as needed.
• Familiar with ESD procedures and ensure good organization and cleanliness of work bench and manufacturing areas

Minimum Requirements:

• HS Diploma or GED
• 2 years' electronic assembly experience
• Must have thru-hole and wire soldering skills and must successfully complete hands-on soldering training as required
• Must have the ability to use hand tools
• This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by US export laws. In order to be eligible for this position, you must be a “US Person” under US export laws (or eligible for approval under a U.S. Government export license.
• This position will require a security clearance.

 Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate's Degree or Technical Certification 
• Basic computer skills
• Aerospace, defense or government contractor experience
• Experience with surface mount equipment and processes, conformal coating application, and/or wave solder equipment and processes
