We are searching for an International Accounting Manager to play a key role in supporting the continued growth of CAI’s India and Philippines global delivery centers. This individual will be part of CAI’s global finance team reporting into our Senior Vice President, Finance and will be responsible for overseeing a global accounting team.
This position requires a highly motivated individual with an analytical background with excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work independently. This role will have direct oversight and responsibility for all accounting, tax, financial, planning and analysis aspects of both delivery centers. This individual will need to partner with our external accounting and tax advisors in support of all components of in country financial and tax compliance reporting. This position requires advanced analytical skills, attention to detail and a strong system of organization as well as the ability to identify problems and issues independently while developing and implementing appropriate solutions.
This position will be full-time and remote.
What You’ll Do
Manage and lead accounting staff within each of our India and Philippines global delivery centers
Serve as the primary point of contact and manage the relationships with international accounting and tax advisors
Regulatory compliance – Ensure compliance with international financial regulations and standards. Keep abreast of changes in financial regulations and legislation
Responsible for ensuring international subsidiaries meet their local statutory reporting compliance requirements, including statutory external audits deadlines
Working directly with the Director of Accounting and our SVP of Finance, coordinate and review transfer pricing and compute transfer pricing adjustments on an annual basis
Review, prepare, and ensure that intercompany invoicing and related project accounting is completed in a timely and accurate manner
Maintain and provide monthly cash flow models to ensure sufficient funding
Responsible for general ledger accounting, including journal entry review and preparation, reconciliation and analysis of various balance sheet and income statement accounts to ensure compliance, integrity of balances, accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting and effectiveness of business processes
Responsible for the month end close by managing individual deadlines and deliverables
Financial reporting and analysis – Prepare and present accurate and timely financial forecasts and annual business plans to management as part of our monthly business planning and review cycles
Assist with maintenance of accounting policies, including related documentation of internal control procedures
Assist with other quarterly reviews and annual audits performed by external auditors as needed
Review and process all compliance/statutory filings required
Assist with other projects on an as needed basis
What You'll Need
Required:
Bachelor’s Degree required
7 years of progressive accounting experience
3 to 5 years of international accounting experience
Management experience
Complete understanding of the technical aspects of account analyses and financial statements
Ability to exercise time management and prioritization skills, as well as impeccable organization and attention to detail
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products (advanced Excel skills)
Active use of business intelligence such as Power BI or Tableau
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong customer service orientation
Experience with a large ERP system
Preferred:
Specific degree in Accounting
CPA and or other relevant Certifications
Direct experience with India and Philippines based organizations is desired and a strong attribute of a candidate
