CAI is seeking a Project Manager for a local government client. This is a HYBRID opportunity in Georgetown, Delaware, 3 days in office and 2 days working remotely. This is a 12-month contract opportunity with a possible extension.
*There will be some travel between Georgetown and Bear.
The overall responsibility of this role is to project manage the implementation of a new Electronic Health Record (EHR) System for an immediate care facility for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The specific responsibility of this role is to project manage the transition and development to a new EHR from the existing legacy system which consists of both written and electronic records. This will require a comprehensive approach of directing a team to achieve the goals laid out by stakeholders.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Responsible for the development of estimates effort in planning, analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation.
- Accountable for delivery of all work tasks identified in the program plan.
- Responsible for the capture and reporting of required program management metrics.
- Adjust and revise estimates when necessary.
- Ensure all changes to scope follow processes and are documented.
- Ensure new estimates are approved by the client and agreed upon.

- Manage, and track the program progress against the program plan.
- Monitor project milestones and phases to ensure the project is on schedule. Take corrective actions if a project begins to slip its schedule.
- Prepares status reports on a periodic basis for program team, team leads, group leads, and program manager and appropriate stakeholders.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- 5 to 7 years' experience pertaining to role description.
- Minimum Education Level - High school
Desired Experience:
- Experience within an immediate care facility or impatient setting is preferred.
- Experience in development with an Electronic Health Record (EHR) System is preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft Office and Teams Foundation Server is preferred.
Physical Demands
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards.
- Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
- Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard and monitor.
