Value Stream Leader

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Value Stream Leader will effectively demonstrate the talent, ability, discipline and drive to take manufacturing to new levels of excellence. Will be Focused on COST/QUALITY/DELIVERY.

• Develop and institutionalize appropriate metrics including dashboards, scorecards and productivity reporting
• Maintain a capacity plan based on the business forecast that ensures the VS has sufficient trained staff
• Good facilitation skills for small cross functional groups

Required Education and Experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain or Business or equivalent experience
• Minimum 7 years’ experience working with a manufacturing organization with proven success in simplifying processes and increasing production
• Minimum 2 years of management experience required
• General project leadership experience
• General knowledge of financial terms and concepts
• Proven leadership in lean manufacturing transformations
• Specialized Skills / Other potential Requirements

• Six Sigma Yellow, Green, Black Belt
• Lean 101
• VSM (Value Stream Mapping)
• CPM
