CAIS | Enterprise Support Associate
CAIS is building the first truly open marketplace for alternative investments, where financial advisors and asset managers engage and transact directly on a massive scale. CAIS provides financial advisors with a broad selection of alternative investment strategies, including hedge funds, private equity, private credit, real estate, digital assets, and structured notes; thus, allowing them to capitalize on opportunities and/or withstand ever-changing markets. Additionally, CAIS provides an industry leading learning system, CAIS IQ, that helps advisors learn faster, remember longer, and improve client outcomes.
We are seeking a highly driven, inquisitive team member to join our growing Enterprise team. This role will work closely with the Senior members of the Enterprise team to support Relationship and Project Management efforts. Qualified applicants will have a minimum of two years of experience in the financial services industry, the capacity and desire to solve complex questions, excellent attention to detail and organization skills, as well as a great client service attitude and entrepreneurial spirit. This is a great opportunity to work closely with internal and external stakeholders, and gain exposure to Enterprise accounts in a fast-paced FinTech firm in the Alternative Investments space. The right candidate will have a path to a client-facing role within a relationship management or project management capacity.
Responsibilities
- Assist team with building and maintaining relationships with National and Regional Enterprise accounts
- Develop expertise on the CAIS platform, custom solutions, and all CAIS investment products
- Submit and oversee resolution of technology requests for custodian restrictions, transaction restrictions, and client specifications
- Maintain project tracking tools and other internal and external resources including Confluence and Airtable
- Draft and implement collateral updates in collaboration with the Marketing team
- Liaise with Marketing, Research, and Product regarding new fund launch details
- Approve fund menus and marketing communications distribution lists
- Maintain, circulate, and file detailed notes including next steps/follow-ups during client calls
- Work with Relationship Managers to create and facilitate delivery of quarterly reports on platform usage
- Prepare presentations and materials for client meetings
- Build excellent working relationships across multiple lines of business and corporate functions including Research, Marketing, Product Specialists, Operations, Client Service, and Technology to launch projects and meet deadlines
- Special projects and additional responsibilities to be determined based on capacity, skill, and interest
Qualifications
- 2-3 years of experience in project management / operations within financial services
- Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance, or a related discipline required
- Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills
- Impeccable written and verbal communication skills
- Self-starter who takes initiative and learns quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Strong commitment to continuous professional development and improvement of the team
- Excellent relationship management aptitude and attitude
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Suite and Salesforce
- Series 7, 63, and/or 66 within first 3 months of starting
