JOB OVERVIEW

This position is to provide technical administration and oversight of configuration management efforts by the Research and Development and Global Engineering Quality Departments. Position will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining tools to monitor, report, and verify the status of multiple product designs throughout their lifecycle, using Siemens Teamcenter and related software.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Responsible for designing, developing, and supporting Callaway Golf’s Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) platform, which encompasses a broad range of software. It includes, but is not limited to: Siemens Teamcenter, Active Workspace, NX and Solid Edge, associated integration with SAP, and other ancillary/standalone systems supporting Teamcenter.

· System installation, maintenance, and upgrades of the above systems

· System administration duties such as user account management, backups, system change management, and coordination with IT department Change Board and Infrastructure groups

· Resolve and implement solutions to process and software bugs, which could require coordination with Siemens or other 3rd party vendors’ technical support personnel

· Provide user and IT Operations training

· Provide management input on strategic planning for PLM systems

· Ensure regulatory/legal compliance for all systems and processes within scope of work.

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)

· Understands all phases of the product design development process, including the role of PLM tools

· Ability to understand and improve business processes, which may or may not include software solutions

· Strong organizational, analytic and debugging skills.

· Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

· Is a self-starter and able to work with relatively little outside guidance, but still works well in a team environment.

· Working experience with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, http/https).

· Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Project.

· Strong knowledge of Teamcenter system administration, including:

· Installation and deployment of database schema changes using BMIDE and TEM

· Management of system preference changes

· Export and import of stylesheets, reports, queries, and workflows

· Configuration of the File Management system (FMS) in a single database environment

· Developing and deploying unattended 4-tier Rich Client installations for both local and remote users

· Teamcenter security, including Access Manager Ruletree and ACLs, Teamcenter Authorized Data Access (ADA), and Teamcenter Single Sign-on

· Good working knowledge of Windows Server 2012/2016 system administration in a VMWare environment

· Good working knowledge of Windows 10 system administration

· Strong understanding of Windows batch file and/or Powershell scripting

· Good working knowledge of various software development processes, including requirements gathering, analysis & design, development tools and technologies, release and version control, testing methodologies and deployment management.

· Highly desirable skills:

· Teamcenter workflow development

· Teamcenter Report Builder

· BMIDE customizations

· Teamcenter Active Workspace installation and configuration

· Teamcenter ITK development

· Proficiency in programming skills like Javascript/JQuery, Java/VB, C/C

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

· B.S. degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar technical field

· Minimum of 8 years of experience developing and/or administrating PLM systems such as Teamcenter

· Golf industry experience desirable
