Product Owner
In this role, the Product Owner will be responsible for executing the full scope of software development life cycle activities for our digital patient platforms. These digital tools are key to enhancing the care we provide to our patients, in the clinic and at the patient s home.
The Digital Product Owner will report to the Manager of Home Products. They will understand business and user problems, define product requirements to drive agile development processes, and participate in go-to-market strategy to ensure Product success. They will work in a highly collaborative and complex environment with senior leaders across DaVita including Business leaders, Product leaders, Architecture, Marketing, Education, Communications, and Support.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Effectively prioritize and maintain the roadmap and backlog for assigned products, balancing business value, stakeholder requests, resource availability, and speed to market
Work closely with field operations, clinical, go to market, and legal teams to gain alignment on product roadmap, in-flight initiatives, and requirements to transition products from development to launch
Partner with research and design to prototype and pilot new product features. Coordinate post-release user surveys, feedback sessions, and metric review to drive enhancements
Independently work with users, agile scrum team, and business leaders to create and document feature requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
Guide the development team to refine, plan, develop, test and release new capabilities.
Be available to support releases outside of normal working hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
Proactively identify and mitigate impediments impacting successful completion of feature work
Support the creation of product documentation which may include feature requirements, release notes, user guides, and marketing materials
Improve efficiency in a constantly evolving environment where the process is fluid and creative solutions are the norm
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience and skills we re looking for you to bring to the role:
3 years as a Product Owner, Product Manager, Business Consultant or similar experience on application development projects
Strong experience in developing, launching, and managing software products
Experience in writing user requirements, use cases, functional specifications, test plans etc.
Ability to translate complex problems into easily understood concepts
Outstanding communication, organization, and leadership skills
Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple small- to large-scale projects concurrently
A team-first attitude and can closely collaborate with cross-functional teams
