Job Description
As the Programmer Analyst, you will be responsible for Designing, implementing and supporting data warehousing, data integrity and database management at.
Responsibilities:
Collects and analyze information from multiple internal and external sources
Integrates and synchronizes conceptual data models to the logical/physical data model in the database tool
Creates, alters and/or maintains application warehouse/database structure
Tunes and assesses data warehouses, databases and applications
Implements data standards
Diagnoses and resolves problems, including interaction with other Information Technology staff and vendors to do so
Coordinates and installs databases and database-related software
Maintains and develops data warehouse databases and associated stored procedures, server agent jobs, and maintenance schedules
Develops, tests, maintains and employs customized applications and databases to meet business needs
Researches and collaborates with vendors and external resources to assist in the process of data warehousing programming and maintenance
Develops interfaces for the credit union's core system
Develops and implements code (scripts/queries) in order to streamline communication between software and databases and to improve staff processes for accessing the core system
Builds requested, scheduled and batch reports
Creates interfaces for monitoring data warehouse performance and installing upgrades and versions
Provides database training support and trains users on custom applications
Recommends ways to increase data usage efficiency
Backs up other departmental staff as necessary
Achieves a minimum of "Satisfactory" rating on internal audits and examinations
Accomplishes the credit union's mission by completing relevant duties as needed when requested by management or other staff members
Essential Qualifications: Associate's degree or 60 hours of post-secondary or technical education required; Bachelor's degree preferred. Substitution: Equivalent work experience beyond a high school diploma may be substituted for the Associate's degree requirement on a year-by-year basis. Three to five years of data warehousing, database design, programming or systems analysis or other relevant experience.
Advanced knowledge of information technology operations and systems
Advanced understanding of data warehousing and database tools
Knowledge of SQL relational database programming and query languages
Working knowledge and ability to learn application programming languages
HTML, JavaScript, Crystal Reports, ASP.net, MVC.net, C#.net, Visual Studio, MSSQL, SSRS, SSIS, T-SQL, Stored Procedures, and CSS
Knowledge of credit union products, services, policies, regulations and procedures
Proficient data analysis skills
Demonstrated logical skills used in application and query design
Proficient software skills, such as Microsoft Office
Intermediate mathematical skills
Ability to handle multiple and complex deadlines
Ability to express oneself clearly and articulately both orally and in writing
Ability to function as a team member comprised of cross-departmental staff and vendors
Ability to make decisions and take initiative in problem resolution
Ability to exercise tact and responsibility with handling confidential information
Ability to work with little supervision of daily activities

Preferred but not required:
Ability and desire to learn C#.Net, .Net framework 3.5 and 4.0, Microsoft Reporting Services, Microsoft Integration Services
