What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dental Assistant position at Caldera Dental Group?
Caldera Dental Group is an established multi-doctor practice seeking an experienced, talented individual who is team oriented, self-motivated, and enjoys building others up while serving patient's needs. We are seeking someone who loves working in dentistry and has experience!
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of chair-side experience, and a strong preference will be placed for EFDA applicants. Assistants lacking an EFDA certification will be asked to completed EFDA training within 120 days of hire. We complete a variety of procedures including full-mouth reconstruction, cosmetics, removable prosthetics, simple crown/bridge, direct restorations, and some pediatric dentistry. The ideal candidate should be versed in all and an expert in some!

What We Need From You:
- Perform clinical duties directed toward patient care
- Work with multiple doctors to perform clinical procedures addressed in the scope above. Expert clinical care is expected
- Work effectively and efficiently to maximize scheduling for our providers and our patients
- Work within a team to assist with hygiene and sterile procedures
- Follow HIPAA and support patients in their treatments
- Perform all duties in conjunction with accepted professional dental practices and standards
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to perform patient assessments and document medical information accurately

Pay: $24-29/hour - DOE
Clinic Hours: Monday - Thursday 7am - 4pm
Note: Dental Assistant certification or relevant experience is required for this position.
