What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Worker position at Caldwell Signs?
Caldwell Signs has a position open in our manufacturing shop. The successful candidate will be responsible, dependable, be willing to work overtime as necessary and have a stable work history.
Primary Duties:
- Cut extrusion and substrate for sign components
- Assemble and paint parts to prepare signs for finishing
- Smaller local installations
- The ability to operate standard power tools, measuring tape, and read shop drawings.
- Previous experience in wood or metal fabrication is helpful.
- Knowledge of or experience in a paint booth preferred.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to work in a team environment
- Must be organized and know how to maintain equipment
- Need to have excellent manual dexterity and should be able to work with small, detailed objects
- Must be able to do basic electrical wiring
- Knowledge of vinyl application is helpful.
- Self-starters who work with a sense of urgency, keeping deadlines and quality in mind
- Independent thinkers, mechanically inclined and problem solvers
Starting pay based on experience and performance. Review at 60 days.
Valid Drivers License
Must Pass Drug Screening
