The Calhoun County Civil Service Board is accepting applications to maintain a roster for the position of DISPATCHER. Applications can be obtained at the Calhoun County Civil Service Board Office at 1702 Noble Street Suite 115 or online at www.calhouncounty.org.
ALL applicants must tour the Dispatch Department before submitting the application. Tours are available Monday-Friday between 8:00am and 4:00pm. Your application must be signed by the Dispatch Department’s tour attendant as verification, so please have your application with you when you take the tour. Applications submitted to the Board Office without tour verification are considered incomplete and will not be accepted.
Qualifications: Must possess a high school diploma or GED. Valid Alabama Driver’s License required. Must be able to operate a computer terminal and radio equipment. All applicants must pass a background check.
Beginning Salary is $15.51/hr
