Data Analyst
Camping World is currently seeking a highly motivated and energetic individual who has an aptitude for problem solving, constant self-development, and data analysis technology. This role will give the successful candidate an opportunity to learn modern development tools, develop critical thinking, and understand various business environments.
Essential Job Functions:
- Work closely with business partners to build data-based solutions that support their needs
- Engage with the business, understand their processes, and create Power BI tools that improve their workflow
- Perform quality assurance tasks to drive report effectiveness and business engagement
- Pull data requests in SQL, create visualizations in Power BI and present to colleagues and business partners
- Enable data-driven insights to be translated into decisions and actions by telling a convincing story
- Evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, and uncover areas for improvement
- Create business cases using data and insights from subject matter experts
Essential Job Skills:
- Excellent listening and communication skills
- Collaboration -- first approach. Ability to build symbiotic business relationships
- Ability to self-develop and cross train colleagues
- Requirement gathering skills
- Project management skills, with proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Compressive understanding of Data Visualization/Business Intelligence tools
- Preferred experience in SQL, Power BI, Snowflake, MS Excel
