The team member frequently communicates with internal team members, investors and vendors. Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery such as a copy machine and printer. Occasionally moves items up to 50 lbs. for various projects.

This role will work in the Real Estate Services department, providing support on acquisitions, development, and asset / fund management through financial modeling and analysis.
Essential Functions For This Role
- Create and maintain financial models for acquisitions, development projects, asset management, and fund management
- Work on a variety of asset classes including multifamily, retail, office, self-storage, industrial, and specialty-use
- Review due diligence and create detailed investment memos to be presented to the Investment Committee for deal approval
- Work closely with Investments team to move all aspects of transactions forward from initial deal sourcing through final delivery of capital
- Maintain quarterly asset and fund valuations for all Caliber assets and funds
- Portfolio management assignments, including tasks related to re-financings, sell-hold analysis, recapitalizations, and oversight of joint venture partners
- Participate in site tours for potential new acquisitions and currently owned Caliber assets and development sites
- Support the sales team by participating in investor pitches and calls
- Various ad-hoc analytical requests from other Caliber departments
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, real estate, economics, business administration or equivalent training/education
- 2-4 years relevant experience in a commercial real estate role
- Experience building and using complex Excel financial models that include multi-tiered joint venture waterfalls
- Experience writing and presenting investment memos
- Strong understanding of investment return calculations
- Ability to communicate complex ideas in formal and informal settings
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under deadline pressure
- Ability to adapt to processes and deal with ambiguity
- Proficiency in ARGUS Enterprise is preferred
