This position supports the California Department of Public Health’s (CDPH) mission and strategic plan by performing various duties, including data entry, print and prepare documents for mailing, open and sort mail/faxes received, and file/purge documents as needed. The Student Assistant (SA) uses various software applications such as Microsoft Office products, such as Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, etc. to perform assigned tasks. The SA abides by office policies, rules, regulations, and procedures; makes arithmetic computations; takes notes during meetings; and follows routine oral and written direction.
The incumbent works under the close supervision of the Staff Services Manager I.
A hybrid telework schedule may be available for this position, in accordance with CDPH’s Telework Policy and Procedures
