We are looking for an Assistant Operations Manager III on a full-time basis based out of our Rocklin location.

Availability:

• Full-time, 40 hours a week
• Schedules vary within these times:
• Shift 1: Tuesday – Wednesday (12:30 PM – 9:00 PM), Thursday – Saturday (8:30 AM – 5:00 PM)

Job Summary:

Supports operations by assisting in product, personnel and member issues, answering general questions, and assists Operations Manager in all other tasks

Accountabilities:

• Assists Supervisor in coordinating activities of departments such as Sales, Front Desk, Child Care, Training, Sports Activities in order to improve club operations
• Maintains an open line of communication with management and club staff on all aspects of facility and operational procedures, while seeking increased responsibility
• Maintains and enforces the highest level of customer service at all times while complying with all company policies and procedures
• Manages difficult and emotional customer and employee situations
• Assists Supervisor in maintaining daily and weekly schedules of all club personnel
• Ensures facility is kept clean and safe at all times
• Assists and reports on monthly club sales goals
• Coaches and supervises employees under the direction of supervisor
• Conducts locker room checks and other actions to ensure a clean club
• Maintains regular and predictable attendance
• Communicates effectively with members, coworkers and supervisor verbally and in writing
• Works in a state of alertness and in a safe manner
• Follows all healthy and safety requirements such as, but not limited to, physical distancing, regular surface cleaning, cough/sneeze etiquette, regular hand washing, and not coming to work when sick
• Promptly and thoroughly reviews all requested health and safety training provided, asking questions for any topic not clearly understood
• Able to work in all clubs in the district with short notice for any period and shift. AM, PM, weekdays and weekends
• Other tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• 3 months experience at California Family Fitness as a supervisor or 6 months experience as a manager in hospitality or customer service
• Current CPR/AED/FIRST AID certification (within 60 days of employment, company provided)
• Alcohol/food certification as required at applicable locations
• Trustline registered

Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ability to effectively communicate directly with members, guests and employees verbally and in writing
• Ability to transfer to other clubs as needed
• Ability to use basic sales skills in conjunction with the highest level of customer service
• Knowledge of basic health and fitness machinery and concepts
• Advanced computer aptitude
