Position: Lecturer: Temporary faculty positions with the possibility of renewal for additional semesters.

Starting Date: On-going. Positions will be filled as needed for each academic semester.

Minimum Qualifications:
1. A master’s degree from an accredited university.
2. Evidence of effective teaching experience at the undergraduate level.
3. Evidence of commitment to student success.
4. Demonstrated potential to work with a diverse and first-generation student population.

The successful candidate will be expected to join faculty, staff, students, and administrators in our University’s shared commitment to the principles of engagement, service, and the public good.

Preferred Qualifications:
1. Familiarity with the Cal State LA campus and resources (e.g., advising, tutoring, etc.) for students.
2. Evidence of equity-minded teaching.
3. Evidence of commitment to holistic, compassionate, and empowering pedagogy.

Duties:
Faculty will teach courses (e.g., NSS 1001 and NSS 4540) and be available for office hours.

Salary: Initial salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
