What are the responsibilities and job description for the Unit Clerk position at Camber Children's Mental Health?
The Unit Clerk provides assistance for medical and nursing staff at KVC Hospitals facilities. This position may work in both acute and residential settings depending upon location. The Unit Clerks are responsible for adhering to the Employee Manual, Operations Manual and organizational policies and procedures in completing job responsibilities. When needed will assist with direct care of patients.
Salary: $19.00 per hour.
Schedule: Full time
Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) from an accredited high school.
Licensure/Certification: Current Certified Nursing Aide or Certified Medication Aide preferred. Valid driver’s license and auto insurance required.
Experience: One to three months related experience and/or training in a hospital or other care facility. Experience working with individuals with behavioral problems preferred. Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel programs as well as Outlook email.
