The Lenox partners with one of Boston’s largest and most successful restaurant groups, The Briar Group, who operates the hotel’s three outlets and banquet facilities. We are seeking an experienced Sous Chef to join the growing team.
Our three outlets include: City Table serving American and international-inspired dishes sourcing local New England ingredients, City Bar is Back Bay’s chic cocktail lounge serving small bites, and Solas our modern-Irish pub and a neighborhood favorite. Our 5000 sq. ft. banquet facilities host corporate and social events including weddings.
As Chef de Cuisine, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our kitchens. Managing a team of about 40, you will ensure the safety and quality of all food items and equipment. You will assist in hiring and training, liaise with the front-of-house team and help develop menu items.

Job specifications:
- At least 3 years of hotel or restaurant kitchen experience, one of which in a supervisory capacity.
- Ability to work in varied temperatures, and stand, bend, walk, navigate stairs, and lift up to 50lbs.
- Ability to work a varied schedule to include days, nights, weekends and holidays
- Some college preferred
- Bi-lingual a plus
