Responsibilities
- Learn Wines products offered
- Preparing weekly Purchase sales order for recurring items
- Checking Prices of products with vendor weekly invoices
- Assisting customers purchase experiences at the store
- Ensure products well stocked daily basis
- Find prospective customers and new target segments
- Ensure high levels of customers satisfaction through excellent service
- Maintain working knowledge of wines products
- Be a shining example of well behavior and high performance
- Additional Wines advisor duties as needed
Skills
- Proven work experience as a sales consultant and products advisor.
- Familiarity with computer for inventory checking
- Ability to gather and interpret data
- Experience in liquor, wines and beer or Bar/Restaurant (Required)
- Proven successful experience as a Wines advisor
- A demonstrated commitment to professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace
- Ability to multitask, perform repeated bending, standing and reaching, and lifting up to 70 pounds
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
Minimum Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age
- Prefer 1-3 years prior experience in Retail Beer, Wine and Liquor Management, Bar Management or Store Management.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently
- Ability to understand and follow English instructions
- Authorization to work in the United States or the ability to obtain the same
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug testing and background check
