To provide guidelines for job duties and expectations for the Assistant Estate Administrator.

JOB Description:
Under the supervision of the Principle and the Financial Operations manager provides support services for Conservatorships, Trusts and decedent estates. Serves as part of the checks and balances and internal controls for asset management, with emphasis on personal property and estate inventories.
The Assistant Estate Administrator’s duties include a wide scope of duties that include, but are not limited to:
· Assists with the investigation, inventorying and documenting of estate assets.
· Assists with marshaling, securing and evaluation of estate assets.
· Helps coordinating a variety of series necessary to preserve & protect estate assets.
· Assists with the preparation of correspondence and accurately entering data in computer systems.
· Assists with the accounting of all financial transactions within an estate.
· Completes accounting activities as needed.
· Assists with solvency analysis.
· Assists with the disposal of financial claims against the estate.
· Assists in efforts to obtain appropriate benefits and insurance coverage for our clients or estates.
· Back-up for estate administrator and administrative support for all office filing.
· Back-up for estate administrator and administrative support and others as necessary in the creation and maintenance of various logs, task and client lists.
Qualifications:
Must understand the fiduciary role and regulations required for the management of court and non-court matters that encompasses guardianships, conservatorships, and trusts. Financial background with knowledge of general accounting practices. Must possess the ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with others and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Skills:
Good written and communication skills. Multi-task oriented. Self-directed. Ability to understand all fiduciary business liabilities and assist the principle with monitoring that day to day business activities to alleviate risks. Requires knowledge of the roles and responsibilities related to court appointed guardianships, conservatorships, personal representative and trustee duties. Must be able to communicate openly and effectively with mentally challenged individuals.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
